W.I.S.E. Crew
W.I.S.E. Crew is a wonderful way for students to explore, search and investigate their wonderings. Questions or wonderings are posed for students to answer through the website Wonderopolis, continuous extension opportunities sent throughout the year, and through topics that reach each student’s own curiosity.
Students that choose to participate will investigate the answers to their wonderings through videos, online field trips, pictures, and reading written information presented online.
W.I.S.E. Crew is optional, and students can participate at school when they complete in school assignments early, or students can continue their learning at home when they have extra time.
Students that complete a total of 10 assignments this school year will be inducted into W.I.S.E. Crew. In June, all W.I.S.E. Crew members will participate in a celebration to honor all the great work and learning each member accomplished throughout the school year. Each student will have a W.I.S.E. Crew tracker sheet at school.
Options for Learning:
1. Students can visit the Wonderopolis website by clicking on the link below. Then, students can print an answer sheet to showcase their new learning.

2. Students will come home with a variety of extension opportunities throughout the school year. If you see the W.I.S.E. Crew owl featured on an optional assignment, that means it can count towards W.I.S.E. Crew points.

3. If a student is inspired to learn more about a particular topic of interest they can fill out a W.I.S.E. Crew Independent Study form. Once approved, the student can showcase their learning in a number ways, including the options presented on the Independent Study form.
